Die Neustadt ist eine historische Strasse in Husum. Hier wurde
früher Vieh getrieben, es gab jede Menge Kneipen und Viehhändler.
Das Gebäude Neustadt 78 wird erstmals 1733 von einem Gastwirt erworben.
Anzeigen im Wochenblatt von 1880 laden zum Abend Clubb" immer Dienstags
abend ein. Der damaligen Betreiberin gehörte auch die "Branntweinbrennerey"in
der Neustadt 92.
1902 wurde der Neubau mit dem Eingang Übereck und einem Lagerraum
errichtet in dem ein Delikatessengschaeft
betrieben wurde. 1908 wurde das Gebäude wieder verkauft, und nach
weiteren An - und Umbau-Massnahmen stand hier 1913 die erste Tanksäule
von Husum. 1965 hat H.C.Walter das Gebäude verlassen.
Als Gastromoniebetrieb wird dieses Gebäude unter dem Namen "Blockhütte"
seit 1970 betrieben. Der heutige Besitzer betreibt die "Blockhütte"
seit 1994...und die Zapfsäule ist immer noch da... nur mit anderem
Inhalt !

That's the Neustadt 78 in Husum.
It all began in 1733 when J.F. Ingersen, a brewer and malter, bought the
property, (6. Quartier Nr 91) presently known as the Blockhütte.
History shows the developement of this old and historical building throughout
the years. Adverts from the "Wochenblatt", a resident magazine,
invite the public in 1880, to gather tuesday evenings to "Abend Clubb".
The turn of the century reconstruction of the building with gable and
corner entrance would later serve as Neustadt's new Delicatessen.
A few years later...in 1913 Husum's first gas pump!
The occupying forces took over the premises in 1945 to 1946 and in 1965,
H.C.Walter finally moved his garage to another city.
The Blockhütte,
as we now know it, was established in 1970. The Blockhütte is since
1994 in the hands of the present owner …and although the Gaspump
is gone, it is still possible to get tanked here ...only...with other
contents!
